- New Sound-Resistant Windows were fitted in January 2019 in our Areca room, our lodge’s only room that faces street.

- Every Saturday 6pm to 9pm – A small craft/street market is at Lebuh Armenian, several streets behind our Lodge.

- Every Sunday 11am to 5pm –Pop-up Street Market at Hin Bus Depot, Jalan Gurdwara. This is a kind of flea market of local crafts and some food stalls (hinbusdepot.com).

- 9 Emperor Gods Festival (28 Sept to 7 Oct 2019) –Vegetarian festival that culminates with a procession from Lebuh Carnarvon, just outside the lodge
